Attendance 5 pts	Poor Missed more than 30% of class time (no show, late arrival, early departure)	Fair Missed 5% to 30% of class time	Good Never missed a class
Questions and Comments 2 pts	Poor Does not ask questions or make comments about subject matter. Ask questions unrelated to subject matter.	Fair Ask questions mostly to get help and not to help others. Participates regularly but not often enough.	Good Ask related questions and participates in discussions effectively. Participates regularly. Engages in discussions to get help and to help others.
Online Participation 3 pts	Poor Does not participate in online discussions, only participates when needs help, or participates without a cause to show participation. Instead of posting questions to class, posts questions directly to instructor. Does not adhere to common online etiquette in online discussions. Does not ask clearly or refer to supporting materials.
